Sublime Artist Agency Responds to GOT7 Youngjae's Dating Rumor With Lovey
On June 27 KST, media outlet Wikitree released an exclusive report stating that GOT7 member Youngjae is in a relationship with solo artist Lovey.
According to Wikitree, Youngjae had worked together with Lovey for GOT7's recent b-side song "Drive Me to the Moon" from their "GOT7" mini album. Youngjae had also featured on Lovey's 2021 song "Hurry" back in December, as well as worked as the song's writer and composer.

In addition, Lovey reportedly attended GOT7's fan meeting concert, "Homecoming 2022 Fancon," after being personally invited by the GOT7 member back in May.

Following reports of their dating rumor, Youngjae's agency Sublime Artist Agency has issued a statement denying the reports.
In response to the dating rumors, the agency said in their statement:
"Hello. This is Sublime.
This is an official statement regarding the dating rumors involving our agency's artist Youngjae.
First, we inform you that Youngjae's dating rumors are not true.
The two are colleagues in music, and because they have participated in each other's albums, they cheer on each other's activities.
We will continue to do our best to interact with fans through better content in the future. Thank you."

Meanwhile, Youngjae recently made his comeback as a solo artist with the release of his second mini album "SUGAR" back on June 21, featuring a title track of the same name. Following his comeback, the GOT7 member topped several iTunes charts all over the globe with his new album and songs.
In addition to "SUGAR" topping Genie Music's realtime music chart, the song also topped the iTunes Top Songs charts in 11 different countries and regions, including Chile, Colombia, Thailand, Qatar, and more.

Also, "SUGAR" saw a high ranking on iTunes Top Songs charts in 22 countries and regions, such as Argentina, Indonesia, Singapore, Turkey, Vietnam, and more.
The song also debuted at No. 2 on the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart, and No. 5 on the European iTunes Albums chart. Also, "SUGAR" debuted at No. 11 on the Worldwide iTunes Songs chart.

The album also hit No. 1 in over 24 countries worldwide, including Brazil, France, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Russia, Thailand, and more.
Meanwhile, besides his music activities, Youngjae has been the radio host of the MBC FM4U radio show "GOT7 Youngjae's Close Friend" since March.
