'Soshi Tamtam' Producer Hopes to Showcase Girls' Generation's Change in the Past Five Years

On June 29, Jung Seung Il, the producer of Girls' Generation's reality show "Soshi TamTam," had a press interview to talk about the upcoming show and what it was like working with the members.

During the press interview, Jung Seung Il talked about each of the members' different personalities, which he could observe after having known the group for more than two decades now. And through the show, he wants to show the public what kind of person they are and how much they have changed.

He said, "Girls' Generation is about to make a comeback for the first time in five years. I wanted to capture the sides of each of the members that they weren't able to show to the public in the last five years, as well as the changes in them during those years."

Jung Seung Il continued, "I have known [the members] for like over twenty years now, and I tried to get every bit of them on camera. I didn't allow myself to miss any tiny thing they talked about or did. They are constantly talking to one another. Honestly, their conversation never ends."

He also revealed that he has never seen the members looking tired despite having such a jam-packed day with their activities. "But despite being busy with their hectic schedule ahead of their comeback, I have never seen them looking tired," Jung Seung Il said.

Jung Seung Il then talked about each of the members' real personalities. He said that Taeyeon is quiet but is "so off the wall at the same time."

For Sunny, he thought that she is the most suitable for reality shows among the members as she is really funny. Because of that, Jung Seung Il relied on her the most.

When he described Tiffany, Jung Seung Il said, "Tiffany is like a cartoon character. She is filled with energy and charms. But she always ends up being the one the members choose to pull a prank on."

He said Hyoyeon and her way with words impress him, as everything she says is hilarious. For Yuri, he revealed that she is a great cook and a good carer. "She always looks after her fellow members and pays close attention to their well-being and feelings at all times," Jung Seung Il said.

For Sooyoung, he said, "Sooyoung has an easy-going personality. She is straight-forward when she speaks and is also professional."

He also described YoonA as someone who has a bright energy and is so friendly that "it's unbelievable." Lastly, for the youngest member Seohyun, he said, "Seohyun still gives off that maknae-like vibe, but she has definitely gotten slicker. Nobody can stop her now."

Meanwhile, the first episode of "Soshi TamTam" will premiere on July 5 at 9 pm KST.
