In November of last year, HYBE established a brand-new sub-label called ADOR, helmed by its Chief Brand Officer (CBO) Min Hee Jin. Before joining HYBE in 2019, Min Hee Jin was known for being a creative director and board member at SM Entertainment, where she worked for 17 years.

HYBE also announced last year that ADOR's girl group will debut sometime in 2022. The group, mainly produced by Min Hee Jin, will comprise members recruited during HYBE's 2019 "Plus Global Audition."

On July 1, HYBE officially announced that the first content for the debut of ADOR's girl group- which has often been dubbed "the Min Hee Jin girl group"- will be revealed later this month.

ADOR also took to its official social media accounts to share multiple teaser videos for the new girl group. Reportedly, the company set up a billboard advertisement for the launch of its girl group in Samseong-dong, Gangnamgu, Seoul on the 1st at 6 a.m. KST, as well as on M-Live and Ezlive in Gangnam.
The clips posted on social media show the numbers "7" and "22," while the billboard videos display 3D texts such as "ADOR girl group," "Min Hee Jin Girl Group," and "July 22." In addition, five running rabbits of various colors also appeared in the teasers.
Based on the teaser videos, the debut content for ADOR's girl group will be revealed starting on July 22.

When ADOR was established, Min Hee Jin commented, "I'm fully prepared to give rise to another change in the music industry through the launch of this new agency. Without any fear of taking on new challenges, we will present new artistic IP (intellectual property) and content that will demonstrate ADOR's unique philosophy."

Additionally, Min Hee Jin revealed during her appearance on the tvN variety show "You Quiz on the Block" that the debut song of the upcoming girl group had already been decided over two years ago.
ADOR's girl group would become HYBE's third female group, following fromis_9 (under Pledis Entertainment) and LE SSERAFIM (under Source Music).
