On Aug. 17, Twitter user @seungyoonnaekko uploaded two pictures of two people, who appear to be a couple as they were walking hand in hand and dressed in matching colors. The man in the photo is said to be WINNER Seungyoon and the woman is said to be TG Entertainment's rookie actress Moon Ji Hyo.

The images were quickly shared on other social media platforms and online communities, and naturally sparked rumors that Kang Seungyoon's girlfriend might be Moon Ji Hyo.

In response to the gossip, a representative of YG Entertainment briefly told news outlets, "It is difficult for us to comment on the personal matters of our agency's artists."
Moon Ji Hyo previously starred in the music video for Kang's solo song "BORN TO LOVE YOU," which came out this past March. Because of their past collaboration, many wonder if WINNER Seungyoon started dating the rookie actress after meeting on set or if they were already in a relationship at the time of the MV filming.

On YouTube, WINNER's "I LOVE U" music video garnered 4.19 million views in the first 24 hours, becoming the group's most-viewed MV within 24 hours in their career. Also, "I LOVE U" is their first song to ever hit four million views in the first 24 hours.
