BTS J-Hope Dating Rumor: Here's Why He's Linked to Model Irene Kim
J-Hope made his debut as a member of Big Hit Entertainment's (now HYBE) seven-member boy group BTS back in June 2013. Following his debut, J-Hope rose to global stardom and became one of the most popular idol and rapper in the industry, not only for his rap and dance skills, but also for his amazing performance and personality. With his global status, many are always hoping to know more about the idol.
In fact, the BTS members have recently been entangled in dating rumors. For J-Hope, he became entangled in a dating rumor with model and influencer Irene Kim. But why was he linked to her? Are they really in a relationship? Keep on reading to find out!
BTS J-Hope Dating Rumor With Irene Kim
Back on July 15, J-Hope held a pre-listening party to commemorate the release of his first studio album "Jack In The Box." For this event, J-Hope had a star-studded list of guests in attendance - from fellow idols and musicians, to notable figures in the music and fashion industry.
In particular, model and influencer Irene Kim was also in attendance at the event, and even snapped a couple of photos with J-Hope.

However, the dating rumors between the two only sparked back on August 2, when J-Hope had shared a photo of him with fellow BTS member Jimin, an editor of W Korea magazine, and Irene Kim.
This photo was taken when J-Hope traveled to Chicago in the United States at the end of July, where he headlined the Lollapalooza music festival on July 31 as a solo artist.

Unsurprisingly, the nature of J-Hope and Irene Kim's relationship drew attention, with many speculating that the two are in a romantic relationship.
Multiple posts online suspect the two are dating after finding "proof" of their relationship, which involve them wearing and having similar items.

Some of the "proofs" netizens found include matching rings in the same design and color. J-Hope and Irene Kim were also seen wearing the same Crocs, having the same phone case, tea pot, and even a sweatshirt from Irene Kim's own brand.

Despite the questions surrounding their relationship, neither have responded to the dating rumors, nor did J-Hope's label Big Hit Music issue a statement.
While others believe that the two are "openly" dating, many believe that the two are just good friends.
BTS J-Hope Relationship Status
As of this moment, J-Hope is currently single and is not dating anyone publicly. However, he has revealed in the past that he did have a girlfriend before he made his debut with BTS.
It is also likely that J-Hope didn't have time to date following his debut, as he became even more busy through the years due to their success.
