After being widely discussed on Weibo, a TikTok user by the handle @bluuberiee created a video, where they told the alleged love story of Jisoo and Joshua. The clip was a translation of the Weibo post into Indonesian. This resulted in many Indonesian media outlets publishing articles about BLACKPINK Jisoo's dating rumor with SEVENTEEN Joshua.

According to this news outlet, the Weibo post stated that Jisoo has been friends with former GFRIEND member Sowon since 2017, and Joshua was aware of this. It was also said that Joshua often greeted Jisoo when they met at the same event.

The clip then said that Sown introduced Jisoo to Joshua in March 2018 because the SEVENTEEN member wanted to get to know the "Snowdrop" actress. It was also mentioned that Sowon was dating Joshua's co-member Jeonghan at that time.
The Weibo post went on to claim that Joshua and Jisoo's favorite place to date is near BLACKPINK's dorm in the Han River area.
