Idols and staff do their best to ensure music program performances are carried out without a hitch. Most of the time, this is executed well, while other times, mistakes happen. These mistakes have birthed some hilarious moments in K-pop! Here are six funny music show moments that you might have forgotten!

1. TWICE when 'FANCY' stopped playing

During TWICE's comeback stage for "M Countdown," the members were also filmed for a Japanese show. The girls were all focused on the performance, dancing to their fullest. That is until the music suddenly stopped.

The song suddenly cut while Nayeon was singing the chorus. Immediately, the members froze in their spots, and Nayeon's mouth was still open as she sang. The members could be seen laughing, yet most of them remained frozen in their spots. Talk about being dedicated to the choreo!

2. TWICE Jeongyeon appears during Red Velvet's 'Russian Roulette' stage

In 2016, Red Velvet appeared on "Inkigayo" to promote their song "Russian Roulette." At the time, TWICE member Jeongyeon was the MC of the music program.

During the final part of the song, the members were seen performing to their best. Suddenly, the camera panned over to Jeongyeon, who was standing idly. The idol's eyes appeared glued to a screen, and she had no reaction to being filmed, so it is highly likely she was unaware.

The random camera shot of Jeongyeon still sparks laughter among ONCEs and ReveLuvs today.

The scene where Jeongyeon was filmed did not end up making the cut to YouTube.

3. IU slipping

For the 2012 DMZ Peace Concert Live, IU performed her hit single "Good Day."

After finishing her first verse, IU turned around to execute the choreography. However, due to the slipper floor and her high heels, IU ended up slipping.

However, she caught herself before she fell, flailing her arms and legs to maintain balance. The idol herself laughed it off, grinning widely before singing again.

4. WJSN Yeonjung and SHINee Taemin trying to leave the stage early

During a "Music Bank" stage, SEVENTEEN won the trophy for their song "HOME." Following their speeches, two idols were seen trying to leave the stage early: WJSN's Yeonjun and SHINee's Taemin!

Yeonjung crept quietly behind the idols. However, after noticing that her group and other idols were still on stage, she returned to her spot. On the other hand, Taemin was seen jumping and dancing happily as he got closer to the stairs. However, after noticing that the others remained on stage, Taemin awkwardly stood at one of the steps.

The hilarious moment was caught on camera, and CLC also appeared to have spotted Taemin attempting to escape!

5. TXT Beomgyu realizing he was a beat early

In 2021, TXT performed their song "Magic" on "M Countdown." In the middle of the song, Beomgyu was a beat early and was about to dance a move faster than his other members.

However, Beomgyu caught himself. He stopped himself from executing the move and quickly returned to his original position. Despite his best effort to hide the mistake, his eyes gave it away! There was a flash of panic before he shifted his expression to serious yet hilarious!

6. TXT's 'CROWN' (Distorted Ver.)

During their debut era, TXT performed their song "CROWN" on "Music Bank." During Soobin's part of the first chorus, the song suddenly started malfunctioning.

As soon as he started his line, the song cut. Fans were able to hear Soobin's live vocals in the absence of the track, and the group continued performing despite the hiccup.

When the song returned, it was at 2x speed! Despite the speed change, the members adjusted their dancing to match the new pace. The song was quickly fixed to play the correct version.

What made this clip famous was Soobin's reaction. Though professional, as he was able to sing and dance flawlessly, his eyes showed just how surprised he was. Some joke that he was giving "Help me" eyes during the malfunction!
