EXO Xiumin Confirmed to Return as an Actor in Small Screen Lead Role
On September 14 KST, it was announced by JTBC News that EXO member Xiumin is set to return as an actor with a small screen project.
According to reports, Xiumin will be starring in a lead role for JTBC's upcoming drama entitled Sajangdol Mart (romanized title). In response, a source from Xiumin's agency SM Entertainment confirmed the news, stating, "Xiumin has taken on the lead role for the new drama Sajangdol Mart."

Reports reveal that Sajangdol Mart is a drama that will depict various stories that unfold as former idol group members gather together to run a supermarket. Lee Yoo Yeon, who is known for the being the producing director (PD) of the web drama Best Mistake, will lead in Sajangdol Mart's production.
As of now, the broadcasting schedule for the drama has yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, this will mark Xiumin's first acting project after more than seven years. The EXO member first made his small screen debut with a lead role in the Naver web series Falling for Challenge back in 2015.

He acted opposite Kim So Eun, with Falling for Challenge becoming the most watched web drama in 2015, as well as in the industry with more than 24 million views.
In 2016, Xiumin made his big screen debut with the film Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River, where he had a supporting role.
Thus, fans are highly anticipating Xiumin's return to acting with a lead role.

In other news, Xiumin has a busy schedule ahead of him. Besides acting, Xiumin is also gearing up to make his solo debut, making him the seventh member of the group to do so.

And finally on September 26 at 6pm KST will be the release of the album and the music video of its title song.
