LOONA Shines Bright in New Japanese Single 'LUMINOUS'
The ladies of LOONA are encouraging you to be "LUMINOUS" and continue to reach your goal for their latest Japanese comeback.
LOONA released their 2nd Japanese single "LUMINOUS" yesterday, September 28, 2022. The music video was simple, yet meaningful as the members of LOONA sing the lyrics of encouragement to their fans to be luminous.

In the music video, there were five women that differ in age and appearance. The first one was a high school student, then an elementary student, a mom, a grandmother, and a lady with a disability.
Fans were really happy that LOONA brought the spotlight to these women and how they encourage them to show other people who they really are.

The music video also showed how the women became confident after watching LOONA on their smartphones. They were able to do what they are passionate about like the mom playing the guitar, and the lady with one leg dancing while in her wheelchair like the two young kids.
With lyrics like
"You can be just LUMINOUS You wanna be LUMINOUS?"
Many fans were happy and able to enjoy the new song because it resonated with them. YouTube comments are saying that
"LOONA focuses on the type of women society generally overlooks young teens, the disabled, overweight girls who don't fit a certain "beauty standard", unorthodox mothers, and the elderly like yess!! anyone can shine! and be... LUMINOUS"
Many fans were also motivated because of the music video and the song.

One comment stood out as it has more than a thousand likes. It mentioned the lady with a disability like how it was the only K-pop music video to represent a person like that.
"I've never seen a wheelchair/mobility aid user in a music video before, this really brought me to happy tears :') they look so wonderful and their choreography is fantastic they get glamour shots and cool lighting and it's just. It's so wonderful. Golly I love Loona so much!!!!"
LOONA Postpones Japan Concert
After announcing that they will have a concert tour in Japan on August 15, BlockBerry Creative together with Universal Music Japan has postponed the concert indefinitely.

It was supposed to be this Saturday, October 1, in Tokyo but did not push through. It was due to visa issues as announced through their official Twitter Japanese account on September 27.
The company said that they did everything to obtain working visas for the members and the necessary permission. However, it was still not enough so they had to postpone it to a later date.
They will announce the new concert date separately. They will also move the ticket issuance because of it. They are still finalizing the details so fans should wait for it.
Lastly, they said sorry for the inconvenience it has caused the fans. Japanese Orbits, as LOONA fans call themselves, are kind of sad but understood it all too well.
There was already news of the members not attending the concert due to injuries and exhaustion so it was okay for some for the concert to be postponed.
