"It was my wish and was also a request," the male idol said. "I really hope that will be the case. The members are other precious people to me, aside from my family and friends."

Baekho added, "If you're not in an idol group, you won't know the feeling that you can't live without the concept of having a member. I feel special and grateful to have the members. Even when I was on my own, rather than being worried, I felt reassured because I have them."

He further shared that after the merger of PLEDIS Entertainment and HYBE, he anticipated the possibility of working with new people. He has been wanting to work with new individuals aside from the persons he is familiar with, and he thought that the two agencies can create an environment to make that happen.

In an interview with Mydaily, former NU'EST member Baekho also said that he renewed his contract with PLEDIS because it was the best choice for him at that time. And apart from the people he has worked with for a long time now, the other main reason he stayed with the agency is his music direction.

He revealed, "There are a lot of people I have worked with for a long time in the company now. Also, I personally liked the music I did while I was in this company. Those parts played a big role in my choice."
