RBW has released a follow-up statement concerning ONEUS Ravn who was recently embroiled in a scandal after he was accused of cheating and gaslighting by his alleged ex-girlfriend. The agency also mentioned ONEUS's group promotion.

RBW Issues Follow-Up Statement Regarding ONEUS Ravn's Scandal & Group's Promotion

On Oct. 17, RBW took to ONEUS's official fan cafe to issue a new statement announcing that they are closely looking into the legitimacy of the case involving Ravn. They also said that they will take legal action once the allegations made against the idol will be proven false.

Moreover, RBW announced that Ravn will half all of his activities until the fact-checking is complete, and so ONEUS will promote with five members for the meantime.

RBW's full statement is as follows:

"Hello. This is RBW.

We sincerely thank the fans for their love and support for the group ONEUS, and we would like to inform you about the privacy issue of member Ravn that has been circulating on social media recently.

We are closely examining the authenticity of the case, and all of Ravn's activities will be suspended until the fact-checking is complete. Accordingly, ONEUS will continue all future schedules with a five-member system.

We inform you that if the opposing party's allegations are found to be false without a clear basis, we will take strong action through the law firm in charge. In addition, it has been confirmed that the related posts and the other members of ONEUS are completely unrelated.

Once again, we deeply apologize to the fans who must have been surprised by the sudden news, and we will do our best to check the authenticity more carefully.

On Oct. 14, an anonymous individual claiming to be ONEUS Ravn's ex-girlfriend created a lengthy, detailed post about their relationship on Twitter. The netizen alleged that the male idol met her after one of the group's concerts in Japan back in 2020, and that time was the start of their relationship.

The netizen then said that she found out that Ravn has been cheating on her and his other alleged girlfriend, referred to as "LHY," since the end of 2020. "LHY" is said to be a former RBW trainee.

The Twitter user further claimed that once she moved to Korea from Japan, the ONEUS member would insist on having her pay for their meals and taxi fares as he didn't want to use his card to avoid getting caught by their company.

Meanwhile, ONEUS made a comeback on Aug. 16 with their eighth EP "Malus," which contains seven songs including the title track "Same Scent."

"Malus" sold 201,000 copies for their first-week sales in South Korea and debuted atop the Circle Weekly Album Chart. The mini-album also hit No. 5 on the Circle Monthly Album Chart.

On the Hanteo Chart, ONEUS's "Malus" recorded 225,562 first-week sales, marking the group's second time selling more than 200,000 copies in the first week of an album's release. They initially achieved the feat with "TRICKSTER."
