A K-pop idol recently revealed that he can't attend SM Entertainment's annual halloween party, SMTOWN Wonderland 2022, but left many people laughing.

SM Entertainment will hold its annual halloween party this year, and Pink Bloods are excited about what costumes the company's artists will show up this time. The event was originally inspired by SHINee, who appeared in costume at the initial company-wide halloween party.

On Oct. 21, SM Entertainment released an official notice about the upcoming SMTOWN Wonderland 2022, which will be broadcast on Oct. 30 through Beyond LIVE.

In the notice, the agency invites Pink Bloods to "come and hang out" at the event's red carpet. They also mentioned that "all artists will attend in makeup and costumes."

However, there's one artist who has already announced that he can't make it to SMTOWN Wonderland 2022- but fans and netizens can't help but laugh about it. The artist in question is WINNER Hoony (also known as Lee Seunghoon), who is a YG Entertainment artist.

On Oct. 20, WINNER Hoony held a live broadcast on Weverse where he talked about various topics with Inner Circle. At one point, he revealed that he wanted to attend SM Entertainment's halloween party, however, he can't due to conflict in schedule.

"I wanted to go to the SM halloween party," Hoony said, "but I have a schedule on that day. I wanted to go since I filmed content with SM members recently."

One Inner Circle then asked him, "Hul but you're a YG artist, you got invited by SM??" He replied that he didn't get an invitation but he was planning on going without anyone knowing.

"I didn't get an invitation or anything so I was planning on going in secret," the male idol said.

WINNER Hoony's remarks about being unable to attend SMTOWN Wonderland 2022 were shared on the online forum Instiz, and netizens can't help but burst into laughter.

WINNER Hoony's Recent Activities

On July 5, Hoony returned to the music scene along with his fellow WINNER members. The group dropped their new mini-album "HOLIDAY" and the music video for the title song "I LOVE U."

"I LOVE YOU" was co-written and co-composed by WINNER members Seungyoon and Mino, alongside AKMU Lee Chan Hyuk and TREASURE Bang Ye Dam. The lyrics express the feeling of love, which may appear common and evident but is stronger than anything else.

"HOLIDAY" marked WINNER's first comeback as a full-group in more than two years since their studio album "Remember" came out in April 2020.
