On October 24, online community forums and social media sites, such as Twitter, reported EXO member Lay's current situation.

On this day, an internet user revealed Lay's current whereabouts. They stated that Lay appeared at the airport in Thailand to board a flight to South Korea.

Lay, who looked stunning with pink hair, greeted fans a the airport. He received the gifts fans prepared for him. The idol walked as if there was a spotlight on him, drawing attention from many due to his vibrant energy.

After his encounter with fans, the EXO member took to Instagram Stories to thank everyone who greeted him at the airport.

Why Is EXO Lay In Korea?

Currently, Lay is in South Korea. It is known that Lay will be meeting up with fellow EXO member Suho.

On October 24, Suho mentioned Lay in an Instagram live stream. During the broadcast, he stated, "I heard that Lay is in Thailand, but he said he will come to Korea soon. So I decided to meet up with him in Korea."

EXO Lay Recent Activities

In April, Lay announced that his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment has expired. At the time, the male idol did not directly confirm nor deny if he would leave EXO or continue as a member of the group.

However, SM Entertainment did release a statement confirming their contract with Lay had expired, but a new type of contract is under discussion.

On September 21, 2022, Lay released the music video for his single "Veil," which is the title track of his latest mini-album, "West." The album was officially released on September 26.

On April 8, 2022, Lay released the song "JIU" in celebration of his and EXO's tenth-year debut anniversary. That same day was when he announced his departure from SM Entertainment.
