These individuals are described as obsessive fans who will go to any extreme to get closer to their favorite artists. Aside from stalking, they are also known for invading the privacy of the singers by taking photographs, going to their homes, and more.

The first one on our list is EXO Baekhyun, who has long been suffering due to obsessive fans.
One time, he received an unwanted phone call from a sasaeng, who harassed him for "bothering" his co-member Sehun. But he dealt with the situation perfectly.

During a certain live broadcast, the idol seemed to have had enough of those fans, and so directly told them that he hates them.
Baekhyun said, "Even at this time when I'm spending time with all of you, sasaeng fans are still calling [me].. I hate it, I really hate it. But I love all of you EXO-Ls... I hate sasaengs."
GOT7 Youngjae Posting About Sasaeng Fan
GOT7 Youngjae is another K-pop idol who has been frustrated with sasaeng fans for years. In fact, he often voices his anger towards them.
For instance, back in 2020, the main vocalist was spotted by a sasaeng fan and was photographed without his permission. The singer expressed his anger over this incident on Instagram.

He wrote, "Don't come up to the shop. And was that a threat? You can't just take a picture of me chatting with other people at a cafe without my permission and then ask me, 'Can I post this?'"
He then answered the fan's question by saying, "If you want to see a person's life get ruined, go ahead and upload it."
BTS V Showing Sasaeng Fans How They Behave
One of the common things sasaengs fans do is to get as close as they can to their favorite K-pop idols and take photos or record them.
BTS V experienced this situation at an airport, and while he was walking, he immediately took action to prevent them from getting too close to him. He got his phone and pretended to take pictures of the fans who were behind him. When he did this, the fans quickly stepped back.
NCT Yuta Flashing His Middle Finger to Sasaengs
NCT Yuta always shows his sweet personality to NCTzens, but he isn't like that towards sasaengs.
As a matter of fact, when a group of sasaeng fans were hanging outside NCT's dorms one time, Yuta was seen flipping them off and telling them to "get lost."
The male idol received praises for what he did, as many thought it was a "cool and refreshing" way to deal with the obsessive fans.
TVXQ Changmin Dragging Sasaeng Fan Out of Taxi
TVXQ members have had some of the worst situations with sasaeng fans over the years. They experienced being stalked, being hospitalized, having their homes entered, and more.
Naturally, the members grew tired of this, and Changmin, in particular, decided to strike back at one of the sasaeng fans.

Male K-pop idols aren't the only ones who have the guts to deal with sasaeng fans themselves, even female artists can do it.
One example is Girls' Generation Taeyeon, who got tired of receiving phone calls from sasaeng fans, and so she released the phone numbers of those fans.
