SM Girl Group Member Believed to Belong to Red Velvet Spotted on Date- Who's the Guy She Was With?

On Nov. 16, WIKITREE reported that a few pictures of an SM girl group member and a male idol together have been posted on Twitter.

Recently, several pairs of K-pop idols made headlines as they were believed to be in a relationship based on their SNS posts. Among them are Kep1er Dayeon and Ciipher Won, AKMU Chanhyuk and fromis_9 Saerom, and Golden Child Jaehyun and ALICE Yeonje.

While none of these couples were officially confirmed, the SM girl group member and the guy she was spotted with are actually a true couple. They are none other than Red Velvet Joy and Crush.

In the released photos, two figures presumed to be Joy and Crush can be seen sitting side by side. It is said that the two met and watched a certain show together.

It was also said that the female idol posted a photo showin the time she went to that particular show to her Instagram story. (see image below)

Other than that, multiple pictures showing the instances when the couple wore matching items also recently surfaced. One time, the two were noticed to have worn the same pajamas, and on another occasion, they were wearing similar padded coats. (See photos below)

This isn't the first time that the two K-pop idols interacted with each other since they made their relationship public. This past September, the female artist was seen silently supporting her boyfriend on Instagram, and last March, they are believed to have gone on a date.

Considering all of these, it is safe to assume that Red Velvet Joy and Crush's relationship is doing well.

Joy and Crush made their relationship public in August 2021 after it was reported that they were dating. Korean media outlet Sports Chosun stated that the two remained in touch after working on the collaborative song "Mayday" in May 2020 and eventually started dating.

The idols' agencies soon confirmed that the two are indeed dating, saying that they had a senior-junior relationship at first, but they began dating with good feelings toward each other.

Red Velvet to Make November Comeback With New EP

In other news, Red Velvet is gearing up for their comeback this month with their new mini-album, "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Birthday." This EP follows the group's fifth EP "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm," which came out this past March.

According to the schedule they released, the girls will start releasing teasers for their upcoming comeback on the 15th, when they will drop a mood sampler. It will be followed by a series of concept photos from the 16th to the 23rd. Then, a music video teaser will come out on the 27th, and the official MV and the album will drop on the 28th at 6 p.m. KST.

Earlier this day, Nov. 16, Red Velvet released the "ODD RECIPE" teasers featuring Joy and Wendy. The teasers for the other members are expected to be revealed on the following days.

Meanwhile, the music video for Red Velvet's "Feel My Rhythm" is about to reach 60 million views on YouTube. To recall, the MV surpassed one million views in just 49 minutes after its release, becoming the fourth-fastest K-pop girl group MV to achieve the feat this 2022 (as of August).
