OMEGA X Sexually Harassed, Threatened by Spire Entertainment CEO, According to Members

On Nov. 16, all eleven members of OMEGA X- Jaechan, Kevin, Sebin, Junghoon, Hwichan, Jaehyun, Hangyeom, Taedong, Yechan, Xen, and Hyuk- attended a press conference to reveal their side on the recent controversy over their management company Spire Entertainment mistreating the members. The agency's former CEO, Kang Seong Hee, in particular, was accused of verbally, physically, and mentally abusing the boys.

During the press conference, the OMEGA X members couldn't hide their tears while giving details about the matter.

The group's leader, Jaechan, said, "The reason why we couldn't help but to endure and keep quiet about all the situation until now was because we were afraid that our last chance would disappear if we didn't."

He added, "For the sake of our fans who trusted, supported, and waited for us, we had to endure (it). As the eldest member and the leader of OMEGA X, seeing my fellow members struggling and getting exhausted, I was afraid and worried that our dreams would collapse. I wanted to protect OMEGA X."

Jaechan then confessed that the members reached the point where they could no longer endure what they were going through.

He went on, "For everyone else out there receiving unfair treatments and for those who also have dreams, we decided to speak up."

OMEGA X also touched on the horrid treatment they experienced from former Spire Entertainment CEO, revealing that they suffered sexual harassment from her.

The members shared, "She sexually harassed us, habitually, and this includes touching our thighs, holding our hands, touching our faces, and more."

The boys further revealed that the former CEO even threatened them if they wanted to continue as OMEGA X. They heard Kang Seong Hee say things like, "If you want to keep doing OMEGA X, you better keep crawling (at my feet)" and "I'm going to kill you." The group also claimed that she threatened them that she will commit suicide.

Later on, OMEGA X's legal representative said that they will proceed with pressing charges against the former CEO for assaulting, threatening, and exploiting the members. Prior to that, they will first apply for nullifying the exclusive contract of the members for their future activities.

OMEGA X Applies for All Related Trademarks

In related news, OMEGA X recently applied for trademark rights. The group specifically applied for both their Korean and English names, as well as the fandom name "FOR X" on Nov. 7. This was the same day former Spire Entertainment CEO, Kang Seong Hee, resigned from her position.

Apart from that, the hashtag "#PROTECTOMEGAX" was also registered with the group and fandom names. This hashtag is the one that both the group and its fans use to bring awareness to the abuse and mistreatment the boys have faced at the hands of their company.
