"Daebak Show with Eric Nam": GOT7 Jackson Reveals He Always Leaves One Light On at Home Whenever He Goes Out

On Nov. 22, DIVE Studios uploaded the second part of episode 5 of "Daebak Show with Eric Nam" featuring GOT7 Jackson as the guest. The episode continues the serious conversation and a little bit of fun between the two.

During the talk, Eric Nam gave Jackson some questions sent in by fans to the program. One of the questions was "When I'm around friends, I'm very happy. But, when I'm alone, I feel lonely and depressed. Is it just me?"

In response to this, the TEAM WANG founder confessed that he can relate to that fan and added, "I'll be so happy here. (But) I already know as soon as I get home, I know I'll be the... (I'll be) lonely again."

He went on to confess something that he has never talked about before. And that "something" actually inspired him for five to six years straight to film a music video.

"I never talked about it but every time when I get home I never turn off all the lights in my house. I always leave one," GOT7 Jackson revealed.

When Eric Nam asked if he does this even when he's sleeping, Wang clarified that he's referring to the light in the living room. He continued, "If I'm going (out)... If I'm (gone) for like a month, I'll still leave one on."

Wang then revealed the reason behind this, explaining that when he gets home and when he sees the light, he feels like someone's waiting for him.

"Because when I get home, I always feel like someone's waiting for me. And every time when I get home, I feel like that light is waiting for me," GOT7 Jackson stated.

The "NANANA" singer further said that when he's outside, everyone's relying on him and he has to "make things move," but then he has no one to rely on when he gets home besides the light.

"I get home, I look at that light, I feel like, 'At least you're welcoming me.' You know, like, thank you. That's why I always leave that light on. It's like, 'Oh, you're home' is what the light is telling me," Wang continued.

Later on, GOT7 Jackson once again mentioned that he wanted to film a music video about him always leaving one light on whenever he goes out.

"I mean, I think I've always wanted to shoot a music video about like me and the light. Give me some stuff like that," the singer said.

After hearing his story, Eric Nam commented that he can relate and understand Wang's situation, and later touched on the pressure that Jackson might be feeling, as he has to continue working so that the people around him will continue to work as well and earn money.
