Cube Entertainment Suspends BTOB Eunkwang's Activities — Here's Why

BTOB Eunkwang Tests Positive For COVID, CUBE Releases Statement
On November 23, BTOB's company Cube Entertainment posted an official announcement regarding Eunkwang's condition.

The statement indicated that all the member's activities will be suspended and will require the artist to take necessary quarantine procedures.
Cube Entertainment released the statement:
"Hello. This is Cube Entertainment.
BTOB Seo Eun-kwang has tested positive for COVID-19.
On the morning of Friday (23rd), Seo Eunkwang felt an abnormality in his neck and preemptively went to the hospital to conduct a PCR test, and it was confirmed that he was positive.
As a result, Seo Eunkwang is currently suspending all schedules and taking necessary measures. We will continue to follow the health authorities' guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our artists.

Earlier Diagnosis in 2022
The leader also tested positive earlier at February 5, 2022, while the company released its official statement about his condition confirmed positive days before their much-anticipated comeback.
Eunkwang began to experience symptoms of sore throat around February 14. Following his results, the remaining BTOB members also went through PCR tests as a precaution.
It's sad to see one of BTOB's cheerful member get struck by the pandemic. Nevertheless, health measures will be taken for his speedy recovery!
BTOB's Vibrant Stronghold - His Leadership
Most Kpop groups have a certain leader who oversees bridges between the group itself and the company. In a past interview with VOGUE Girl, the BTOB members talked about how they felt celebrating 900 days since debut.
During their 900th day, BTOB Leader Seo Eunkwang wrote in a twitter post:
"BTOB♡Melodies 900th day.. I am always thankful and more thank you. From the bottom of my heart, I love you all. Let us continue with this love! Hahahaha I am happy hahaha hoho"
In VOGUE Girl, the members were asked about teamwork and with no hesitation, they replied that the answer is their leader Seo Eunkwang.
Shortly after, Son Eungkwang expressed his thoughts.
"I'm so shocked that we've never fought, not even once. We have trust in each other, and everyone is so nice."
Every leader in K-POP groups have redeemable qualities. In this particular industry where pressure or stress can become overwhelming, the group leader will always play a huge part in their endeavors, teamwork quality, emotional bond, and professional ties.

BTOB's leader Seo Eunkwang has proven his reliability from time to time, altogether with his genuine care for the members.
BTOB debuted on March 21, 2012 which consisted of Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, Ilhoon, and Sungjae.
Ilhoon left the group in 2020.
