On November 29, Jeon Somi graced Day 1 of the 2022 MAMA Awards with her stunning presence as one of the MCs of the two-day event held in Osaka, Japan.

On this day, Somi flaunted her multilingual skills, hosting the show while speaking in Korean, Japanese and English. She also helped to maintain the energy of the show for more than 4 hours, with her vibrant visuals and personality.

On top of this, she also became a hot topic during the broadcast for donning various unconventional outfits every after break and segment.

On the red carpet, Somi initially appeared in a simple golden silk dress that emphasized her figure. But she was only starting to turn the music award into her own fashion show as she changed 'fits not one, not two, and definitely not three, but six times!

The "XOXO" singer looks stunning with her white two-piece ensemble that gives off angel vibes, and later on, flaunted a full-body mesh 'fit that unveiled her elegant beauty.

She also showed off her chic hip and trendy by wearing a neon pink dress with a hoodie and an all-black outfit adorned with jewelry.

Jeon Somi also incorporated the musical instrument harp into one of her outfits and even wore two little bird cages as earrings.

Following the event, Jeon Somi became a hot topic on social media for her 'fits. Upon seeing her clothes, K-pop fans commented that it was "excessive" and "exaggerated" styling for a Korean awards ceremony.

People highlighted that most MCs in the past often wear simple yet elegant clothes just like what she wore on the red carpet.

However, Jeon Somi raised the bar high for a host and flaunted six unique ensembles.
