BTS Jimin Reportedly To Join BIGBANG Taeyang's Solo Album in January 2023
On December 9, the report about TAEYANG x JIMIN collaboration raised anticipation in the K-pop industry.
According to many K-pop officials on December 9, including the Korean media outlet JTBC, BTS Jimin is expected to join as a featuring artist for BIGBANG Taeyang's upcoming solo album, which is scheduled to be released in January 2023.
The news is not yet confirmed by both agencies, but fans are already raising their anticipation to see one of the best collabs to happen in K-pop.
The reason fans are delighted is that both artists are known to be extremely talented in terms of singing and dancing, and have been named "king of K-pop" multiple times.
Jimin is the lead vocalist and main dancer of the global group BTS. Since his debut, he's shown outstanding performances and strong stage presence that cemented his status as a high-quality artist with a major role in the team. He's particularly recognized for his high-pitched, unique tone and is the one responsible for the group's high notes.

Taeyang is recently said to be focusing on working on his new solo album.

Taeyang's last release was with his solo album, "WHITE NIGHT" in August 2017.
Taeyang's agency YG Entertainment is yet to officially announce Taeyang's comeback. The agency officials said on Newsen on December 2:
"It has not been confirmed yet."
On the other hand, Taeyang's voice was last heard when BIGBANG unveiled its new single "Four Seasons (Still Life)" in April as a four-member group.
