False Reports Taking it Too Far? Chuu Shares Thoughts on Instagram

On February 2, former LOONA member Chuu went viral for her Instagram Story. For further context, LOONA's label BlockBerry Creative has filed a petition against Chuu, which will suspend her entertainment activities.

The label's decision to file rooted from claims that Chuu had violated a contract segment. Since Chuu was expelled by BlockBerry Creative, the idol decided to transfer on a new agency, BY4M Studio.

BlockBerry Creative saw her new label-singing as "tampering," to which they claimed Chuu had already signed on BY4M Studio as early as 2021. With this claim, BlockBerry Creative concluded that the idol had breached her contract with the agency, leading to the petition.

"Hello. This is Chuu speaking. I want to let everyone know that it's really exhausting and sad that I'm repeatedly disclosing the entirety of my position.

On the latest information that spread online, I've seen dozens of articles with slanderous nature, as it's also based on false reports. Honestly, I didn't even know the agency BY4M back in December 2021.

It's really difficult for me to witness LOONA members get involved with the lies created recently. So, in order to settle this, I will arrange my position first regarding the claims, and give my response soon."

LOONA's January Comeback Gets Postponed Indefinitely Due to Unresolved Matters

On December 22, 2022, BlockBerry Creative announced that LOONA's January 2023 comeback will be postponed.

The agency explained that after gathering thoughts from fans and others involved with the production, they decided to delay LOONA's upcoming release "The Origin Album [0]" indefinitely.

This is due to numerous concerns the members have with their company, which pertained to unfair settlement distribution, and Chuu's departure.

"After listening to Orbit and many other people's opinions, we decided that LOONA's comeback activities shelved when various concerns about the members' situations were not resolved yet."

Due to this, we decided to postpone LOONA's 'The Origin Album [0]' indefinitely, that was supposedly scheduled for release on January 3, 2023.

LOONA was a long-term project that required huge investments, so the perceived results were not met no matter how many times we tried. Since LOONA was planned and formed, it was up to the agency to pay for pre-investment.

There are also many misunderstandings and speculations on the settlement. However, we have always felt sorry for LOONA members who haven't received income for a while."
