TWICE's 'What Is Love?' Reaches 700 Million Views on Valentine's Day

On February 14, TWICE's "What Is Love?" becomes the group's first-ever MV to reach 700 million views!

While TWICE's popularity increasing as their career progressed, their music has become a large contribution for their reputation. TWICE has been known to release catchy songs, which easily goes viral due to their hand choreography and addictive music.

Since TWICE's "What Is Love" became viral for its catchiness and signature question-mark hand movement, the song spread like wildfire across the internet, eventually leading to its popularity surge.

The song went viral to the point of surpassing TWICE's most viewed MV "TT," which currently placed 649,964,171 views, nearing 650 million. "What Is Love?" is also expected to be TWICE's first MV to reach one billion views, securing another future milestone for the group. Since, "What Is Love?" is a song about romance, there's no better occasion to celebrate this achievement other than Valentine's Day!

"What Is Love" didn't only steal the hearts of many with its music, but for also the music video, which featured numerous cinematic references from iconic films Pulp Fiction, La La Land, Romeo + Juliet, and more.

TWICE Receives RIAJ Platinum Certification in Shortest Time

In other news, TWICE's "The Feels" received an RIAJ platinum certification, since it reached 100 million streams since its release on Oct 1, 2022.

It was also revealed that "The Feels" took only 268 days to attain the accomplishment, leading it to become TWICE's fastest song to achieve the feat, as well as the fastest release by any female foreign act in history to received platinum in Japan.

Furthermore, this led TWICE to become the girl group with the most RIAJ platinum certifications in streaming. Following "I CAN'T STOP ME," "Feel Special" and "FANCY," the English track "The Feels" is now their fourth single to earn platinum.

"The Feels" is an upbeat song from TWICE and their first-ever English single. The music video currently has 349,174,915 as of February 15, 2023. It received positive reactions from fandom ONCEs, casual listeners, and internationally.
