On March 6, ITZY Chaeryeong became the talk of the town after netters and K-pop enthusiasts noticed her recent appearance.
In web forums, internet users shared before and after photos of the female idol, highlighting that compared to when she debuted, Chaeryeong truly blossomed into a prettier star since then.
In the past, the "Cheshire" singer was initially heavily criticized for her looks that don't fit the Korean beauty standard beauty. Despite her being a top-tier "dance machine" with impressive vocals, Chaeryeong was often overlooked due to debate about her visuals.

However, the female idol didn't pay attention to people bashing her but worked harder as a response. With her perseverance and confidence, Chaeryeong rose as one of the "4th-gen K-pop Queen" with her group ITZY.

ITZY Continues 'CHECKMATE' World Tour in Asia
Meanwhile, ITZY, the group to which Chaeryeong belongs is continuously cementing its status as a "Worldwide K-pop popular girl group" with its 2022-2023 "ITZY THE FIRST WORLD TOUR: CHECKMATE"
Starting with a performance in Seoul in August 2022, ITZY is conducting its first world tour 20 times in 16 regions around the world.
The U.S. tour, which was sold out in eight U.S. regions from October to November last year, was completed, and the Asian tour was successfully carried out from January 14 to 15, 2023, in Manila, the Philippines, Singapore on the 28th, Jakarta on February 4, and Chiba, Japan, on the 22nd to 23rd. Its Taipei concert on February 26 was also a success.
After a few days of rest, the team will continue its solo concerts in Hong Kong on March 11 and 12 as well as in Bangkok, Thailand on April 8.
