SEVENTEEN Set to Make a Comeback in THIS Month!— So SOOON!

On March 11, PLEDIS Entertainment confirmed to Dispatch through a phone call that SEVENTEEN will be releasing a new album in April.

The agency confirmed that the members are currently working diligently on the album's final preparations.

"The SEVENTEEN members are preparing for their fan meeting and working on the new album at the same time" affirmed the agency.

SEVENTEEN's leader S. Coups unexpectedly revealed the announcement of their reunion comeback on the first night of their "SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND" fan meetup, shocking fans, and perhaps even his agency.

The company advised me to say this on the final day [of the fan meetup], but part of my appeal is that I'm naturally disobedient," said playfully by S.Coups. "We're going to return in April."

SEVENTEEN's Repackaged Album "SECTOR 17"

In July of last year, SEVENTEEN made their most recent return as a complete group when they released their repackaged album, "SECTOR 17."

After the release of their fourth repackaged album, "Sector 17," in July 2022, this will be the boy band's first comeback in about 9 months.

SEVENTEEN's BSS Unit

With their comeback title track "Fighting!" (Feat. Lee Young Ji), the SEVENTEEN-unit BSS topped several domestic music charts earlier this year, gaining fame as the morning anthem of blue-collar workers.

The release of their debut single album "SECOND WIND" and the music video for the album's lead single, SEVENTEEN's BSS, a group made up of Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi made a comeback.

Woozi, Hoshi, S.Coups, DK, and Seungkwan from SEVENTEEN, along with Bumzu, Lee Young Ji, and Park Ki Tae produced the upbeat song "Fighting," which has an energetic funk rhythm.

The upbeat song "Battle" accurately depicts the modern-day thirst of its audience.

SEVENTEEN'S Recent Awards

However, the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards were given out and the winners were announced by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

SEVENTEEN was awarded together with other groups such as BTS, IVE, and Kep1er.  Three wins awarded to SEVENTEEN in 2023: "DREAM," their most recent Japanese EP, received Album of the Year (Asia), and "Face the Sun," their Korean studio album, earned two of this year's Top 3 Albums (Asia) awards.

Recently, fans have been specifically warned about a recently planned festival by Seventeen's agency PLEDIS Entertainment, which has acknowledged that the event is a scam.

The event, billed as "FEST WORLD TOUR 2023," is publicizing SEVENTEEN appearances at the event without consent from the group's agency. Therefore, PLEDIS Entertainment warned fans not to engage in any transaction activity with the event.

With a brand reputation index of 3,699,06, SEVENTEEN ranked third for the month of March, according to Korean Business Research Institute's reputation rankings of male-group idols.

SEVENTEEN's track 'Don't Wanna Cry' remains their top-viewed MV with 235.9 Million views. All 13n members perfectly synchronized with the dance and a vibrant and upbeat visual motif, SEVENTEEN really established their status in the K-pop industry.
