Earlier, GOT7 Youngjae appeared as a special guest on the web entertainment show, "Pungja Loves Alcohol" uploaded on JDGY Studio's YouTube channel.
On the show, the male idol showed off his "unfiltered" side, while enjoying various types of alcohol. Not only did they dished out his career as a group and soloist, but Youngjae particularly drew attention for sharing his thoughts on his private life.
When asked about his girlfriend, the "Err Day" singer wittily replied that he's seeing Ahgase (fandom) as his lover for 10 years, causing Pungja to curse in dissatisfaction with his "very idol-like" response.
While on the topic of being in a relationship, the YouTuber delves deeper by asking for his opinion about making his relationship in public, assuming that the answer may vary case per case.
Youngjae then surprised viewers that he's actually not in favor of having a public relationship.

He said:
"This is just my opinion, but I think it's not the best. You see when you break up, there is an article that you break up, and when you get together, there is an article that you get together. Do people in the whole world have to know about my love life? The idea is that. Work-related field and your private life were separate things."
But Pungja pressed him even more by asking Youngjae what will he do if his girlfriend was actually the one who wants to make it official.

However, Youngjae showed strong conviction by replying:
"Okay, bye (to the girlfriend)."
As he drew laughter from the staff, the "IRREPLACEABLE" singer explained:
"Because I think lovers should understand each other's situation."
