10 Most Popular K-pop Girl Group Members for March 2023
The brand reputation rankings for March has now been released by the Korean Business Research Institute, which listed individual female idols.
In the rankings, the results were derived from consumer participation, community awareness, overall exposure, and coverage. The list's findings are covered from February 19 to March 19.
Here are the 10 most popular K-pop girl group members for 2023!
1. NewJeans Minji
In the list's top 1, Minji secured first place with a brand reputation index of 5,061,658. This is due to a 4.0 percent increase, surpassing her February score of 4,866,970.
In her keyword analysis, words such as "Ditto," "Billboard," and "million seller" were included. Moreover, Minji gained 86.70 percent positive reactions from her positivity-negativity analysis.
2. BLACKPINK Jisoo
Jisoo of BLACKPINK came in at second place, garnering a brand reputation index of 4,902,969. This was obtained from her 44.14 percent increase from her February score.
Jisoo is one of the most active group member and soloist out there. For the month of March, she has consistently dropped teasers for her much-anticipated album "ME," which will mark her solo debut.
3. BLACKPINK Jennie
On the third place, Jennie of BLACKPINK followed bandmate Jisoo, with an index of 4,423,131. The "SOLO" singer also placed in the trends for her gorgeous Calvin Klein photos, which were uploaded in her Instagram account.
4. NewJeans Hanni
NewJeans Hanni made it on the fourth place with a brand reputation index of 4,231,337.
5. NewJeans Haerin
With a brand reputation index of 3,660,896, Haerin of NewJeans followed member Hanni on her trail, completing the list's top five.
6. SNSD Taeyeon
Taeyeon claimed the sixth place with a brand reputation index of 2,597,183. The "Happy" songstress also trended for March, since it's also her birth month, which was on the 9th. Taeyeon is also active in her social media accounts, especially Instagram, leading her to join the list.
7. TWICE Nayeon
Nayeon of TWICE garnered a total of 2,536,837 for the March brand reputation rankings. Since TWICE released their March comeback "SET ME FREE," all the members were instantly recognized by many, including international fanbases.
The group also trended for their appearance on 'Billboard Women In Music 2023' and for winning the Breakthrough Award. They also engaged in several U.S. promotions for March, by performing on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and guesting on "The Kelly Clarkson Show."
8. TWICE Mina
For similar reasons, Mina of TWICE followed Nayeon on the brand reputation rankings. The "Black Swan" of TWICE collected an index of 2,367,690 for March, proving her increasing popularity within the group and individually.
9. aespa Karina
Karina of aespa claimed No. 9, after gaining a brand reputation index of 2,316,616.
10. NewJeans Danielle
Lastly, NewJeans Danielle completed the top 10 by collecting an index of 2,255,008. Notably, she also became the newest ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent Beauty.
