Amid praises to the idol, Karina wasn't able to avoid malicious commenters who are eager to claim that she underwent multiple plastic surgeries to achieve the visual she has now.

In a popular online site, the "Next Level" singer raised speculations of undergoing chin and nose surgery, claiming that Karina purposedly reduced fats on her face through a procedure and made her nose bridge narrower as well by artificially enhancing the nose tip and its base.

However, the author was immediately squashed after MYs came to Karina's rescue and defended the idol by posting her pre-debut photos.

Comparing her past and current photos, there's no doubt that Karina's visuals is top-tier ever since, and her high nose bridge and "quail egg" face has been existing even before her debut as an idol.

Her supporters also stated that a face like Karina's can't be achieved with surgery, since it already runs in her genes. If anything has changed, fans implied that the idol lost weight, emphasizing her innate features even more.
