AROHAs Re-Examine ASTRO Moonbin's Final Heartbreaking Tweet: 'Nobody around him seemed to know'

Amid Moonbin's sudden passing, ASTRO's fandom AROHAs re-examined the late idol's final post on Twitter.

Here's what happened.

AROHAs Heartbroken Over ASTRO Moonbin's Final Tweet

On April 20, fandom AROHAs reviewed Moonbin's final post on Twitter, which caught attention in a forum.

Fans were heartbroken after seeing a cryptic post from Moonbin, containing a photo of white dandelion flower seeds. The late idol followed up a poetic caption about spring and everyone he holds dear.

"AROHA, these are dandelion seeds! Dandelion seeds, go with the wind and spread out!"

"To the people I treasure, spring is here, tickling me gently."

AROHAs expressed that the posts were somehow Moonbin's last words, which he intended to voice out to his fans. Netizens then reflected how painful it was for Moonbin, while emphasizing the sorrow granted by the unfortunate occurrence.

Even non-fans gathered in the discussion and offered their condolences to everyone affected by Moonbin's passing. They also mentioned how his departure felt like losing a longtime best friend.

"This sounds like the last words he wanted to convey to his fans, I feel so sorry. He was telling the story of dandelion seeds, it's so sad."

"Seriously, nobody around him seemed to know."

"What should I do if spring comes and you're not there?"

"I'm not a fan but he was someone who always looked likable. My heart hurts. If I'm like that, imagine for his fans. Rest in peace."

"Crazy, I'm not even a fan but I'm crying. Ah, seriously."

"It's like losing your best friend that you've known for so long. I can't face the reality that I'll never hear this person's voice ever in my life. I can't bear this."

Meanwhile, there were other netizens who disagreed with the fans' actions. They stated how unhealthy it is for fans to delve into Moonbin's final moments and look for "signs." Some mentioned those who participated in the action were overanalyzing everything.

Others claimed that these behaviors are just part of processing grief, since fans are looking for explanations to make sense of the shocking incident.

"Personally, I don't feel it is good for the health of fans to look too deeply into his previous public words/actions for "signs."

"Maybe he meant something else, maybe he didn't. Don't dwell on it too long."

"It also really annoys me seeing K-poppies posting photos of Moonbin smiling and laughing, then calling it fake or 'he's hiding the pain.'"

"I think it's part of the grief. In the disbelief, people try to make sense of it all by trying to find explanations, so everything that isn't explicit can be contorted for that end."

"True, but I can also understand why someone would look for words like these to find comfort."

Moonbin passed away on April 19. The announcement was claimed by the Seoul Gangnam police station, whose authorities were called immediately by the late idol's manager.

ASTRO's agency Fantagio has also responded to the reports of Moonbin's passing, and disclosed that a funeral for him will be held discreetly as possible. Moonbin was 25 years old.

May Moonbin rest in peace.
