Jennie's fellow bandmate Rosé also graced the event on May 17. Rosé attended the premiere of Japanese drama "Monster," exhibiting her black column gown from Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent and her slicked-back hair.

The festival also included the appearances of fourth-gen act aespa, who became the first ever K-pop group to attend the event. On May 25, members Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning went viral for their visuals, leading them to become a hot topic within netizens.

aespa also attended Chopard's Art Gala event in Cannes before the main event. Chopard is a Swiss luxury brand, known to be a longtime sponsor for Cannes Film Festival. The quartet joined the festival as ambassadors of the brand.
