This revelation sparked a multitude of theories because the poster displayed a date aligning with a JYP Entertainment audition - July 3. Intriguingly, JYP had also posted about an audition titled "New Wave" on the same date, which appeared to be connected to NMIXX's concept.

Although the auditions are scheduled for August, the online application deadline was indicated as July 3, as highlighted in a TikTok video that has amassed over a million views.

While it is important to note that all of these speculations are based on circumstantial evidence and could be mere coincidences, fans have taken to social media to express their concerns and even outrage at the potential introduction of a new member. Jinni's departure at the end of 2022 is still fresh in their minds, and the thought of another member joining the group is something they find difficult to fathom.
