JYP Entertainment Mismanaging Its Groups? Here's What People Are Saying

On July 5, a forum was made by an author, who aired out thoughts regarding JYP Entertainment's management towards its groups.

In the forum, the author wrote:

"The agency seriously wasted ITZY. The members' range of skills and visuals are all above average. They managed to have these kids come together but weren't able to make them hit big, and doing just that requires serious skill.

They just repeated their concepts again and again, and now that they're finally releasing a comeback, they will pre-release days away from their hoobae NMIXX's song.

JYP should be treating NMIXX too. They announced a member's departure in such a crude way, and she got all sorts of hate. Not to mention their pre-release choreography and coordi, but I'll just keep quiet about that."

Meanwhile, the author also made remarks regarding JYPE's way of managing Stray Kids, TWICE and 2PM.

It continued:

"They don't even take care of their male idols. Stray Kids performed in Japan during the National Liberation Day, and it wasn't even well-thought out.

They should be caring for the members' mental state. They always brag about the company's food but the kids are consistently away in overseas so they can't even have a meal there.

JYP Entertainment has less company stans compared to other agencies because they don't give the things fans exactly want. How can anyone stan this company? Like, most become fans of it by accident and in turn, can't leave because of their biases.

Those who quit being fans of JYPE all promised not to stan a JYP group anymore because of how stressful it is. It also goes for 2PM, when a member got kicked out and they sent the group to do a Japan tour anyways. They're not looking like an entertainment company.

TWICE used to be its third-gen representative group, but they're always pushed aside by BLACKPINK no matter how many promotions they do internationally. That's how people see them, and I think acknowledgement is far from happening.

JYPE doesn't even promote or write business posts about their groups. What can they even do when they have zero skills in damage control."

Read their comments below:

"Every time Stray Kids manages to achieve something, it's like they aren't able to write a report about without mentioning BTS."

"I'm not sure about NMIXX, but I'm worried for ITZY and it's a shame. Chaeryoung is talented so they can give her variety appearances, Yeji and Ryujin are well-rounded and Yuna and Lia are top tier-visuals."

"The worst thing JYP does is their viral marketing. Stray Kids and TWICE are two of the most successful groups internationally aside from BTS and BLACKPINK, but people assume they're flops."

"JYPE always treats their groups so stingy to gain higher profits despite how much the artists have made."

"Their management has been questionable nowadays. Like, who thought it was a good idea to overlap ITZY and NMIXX's comebacks? Also, wasn't Jihyo about to release her solo?"
