Amid the rumor that BTS V is the "global superstar" that will appear in NewJeans' upcoming comeback, netizens showed mixed reactions about it for this reason.

NewJeans 'Cool With You' MV To Feature 2 Global Stars – Will BTS V Collab With Group?

On July 17, ADOR, the sub-label of HYBE managing NewJeans, announced that the girl group will release another title song, "Cool With You," and its MV on the 20th.

Following the rave reviews received by their pre-release "Super Shy," there is a high expectation from "Cool With You" after the company teased that the music video will be divided into two parts: A & B.

In addition to this, ADOR raised the anticipation of fans even more by saying:

"Two surprising and unexpected global stars will appear."

"Cool With You" is one of the triple titles of NewJeans' second mini-album, "Get Up."

The other two title tracks were also revealed ahead of NewJeans' official comeback on July 21.

"ETA" was unveiled during the group's fan meeting on July 1, while "Super Shy" was released on the 7th.

Regarding the third title track, the agency hinted that "Cool With You" is based on the UK Garage rhythm and that the members' attractive vocals will be showcased in it.

Meanwhile, following the news that there are two global superstars who will be appearing in NewJeans' upcoming MVs, K-pop fans were quick to speculate and find clues about who they could be.

Among big stars that could have possibly collaborated with the girl group, the name of BTS V is being mentioned the most, along with actress Jung Hoyeon, who became a breakthrough actress through the hit series "Squid Game."

Although nothing is confirmed yet, the rumor of BTS V being featured in NewJeans' new song became stronger after a travel blogger mentioned the two artists in their recent post.

The OP, who claimed to have eaten in the same restaurant as V during his stay in Madrid, Spain, narrated that the place's owner told them that the idols have visited their restaurant three days in a row prior to them.

“The boss said that (BTS) V and NewJeans had been here and ate here for 3 days in a row until the day before we came. The boss said V’s bare face was so handsome... I’m curious how he looks like in real life."

Following the rumor, ARMYs (BTS fandom) and Bunnies (NewJeans fandom) showed excitement and delight with the possible collaboration of artists from the same parent agency.

Combining the power of V and NewJeans, "Cool With You" is expected to be a hit.

Unfortunately, Korean fans in a popular online community forum are against the possible collab. Some specifically claimed that HYBE would most likely use BTS V for the "clout" and try to hype NewJeans' comeback.

• "Hybe really knows BTS V's power but didn't give him enough opportunity."
• "Why would even a global superstar like him appear in a rookie's MV?"
• "Instead of giving us his solo album or acting debut, they use V instead to promote other groups."

Some Bunnies were also worried about NewJeans working with V, given that most members are minors.

• "Kinda worried about a full-grown male adult appearing in the MV of a group with minors."
