On July 19, Instagram user @y_chaeee, the influencer and fashion model involved in the viral conversational screencaps with Jay B, has broke her silence regarding the matter.
Jay B has received mixed reactions from netizens who criticized him for his actions. Meanwhile, fans has also stepped up with their newly found evidence, which aimed to debunk the claims of Jay B chatting the influencer randomly.
After the onslaught of buzz that circulated online, the influencer has decided to step up and give her thoughts regarding the issue, clearing out any confusion.
In her statement posted through Instagram Stories, the influencer clarified that she had initially shared the alleged convo with a group of close friends.
However, she stated that someone had captured and spread the conversation. The influencer added that the pictures aren't faked and she didn't make the post for attention.
Furthermore, the influencer clarified there was nothing going on between her and Jay B, as they are no longer communicating with each other. She also encouraged everyone to refrain from bringing the matter to her or Jay B.

"I think the situation is getting bigger. Let me explain. The DM came from him in the first place. I posted a story about it, so only a few close friends can see it, but someone screen captured (the photos) and spread it.
I didn't manipulate the DMs or spread it for gaining attention. There is nothing between him and me. We are no longer in touch (with each other). Please refrain from commenting on this further to him and me."

The issue started on July 18, when a post went viral containing the alleged screenshots of the conversation between Jay B and the influencer. According to the photos, the two discussed certain topics such as Jay B's military service, clubbing, and Instagram activities.
When the screenshots of the conversation got leaked online, Jay B met unfavorable reactions from netizens.
