Jessi Breaks Silence on Potential Dangers at WATERBOMB Festival: 'It's the Worst'

Veteran soloist Jessi has cemented her status as royalty at the esteemed WATERBOMB Festival, captivating audiences as a headlining act since its inception in 2015.

Every year, Jessi captivates onlookers with her arresting attire, pushing boundaries and even revolutionizing the festival fashion scene.

Notably, her ensemble in 2018 left an indelible mark, as she fearlessly became the first performer to grace the stage in a bikini.

Jessi’s Confessions on Her WATERBOMB Festival Experience

Reflecting on her bold choice, Jessi recalled, "This is what changed the whole standard. I was like, everyone at WATERBOMB was still dressing [normal], right? But I was like, ‘It’s a f*cking WATERBOMB! I’ve been doing this for so long, might as well just wear a f*cking bikini.’ So I was the first one that wore a bikini."

Jessi Spills the Tea on Unbelievable Festival Difficulties

The event was described as a summer music festival where attendees used water guns to splash the audience. In a humorous tone, Jessi jokingly referred to it as "the worst," but her remarks were grounded in valid concerns.

"So WATERBOMB, for people who tune aren’t familiar, it’s festival during the summer- a music festival- there are water guns and everything, you’re splashing the audience."

She acknowledged the festival's beauty and the incredible experience it offers, but she also highlighted the difficulties it presents for performing artists.

"Oh god, it’s the worst... It’s beautiful, like, performing the event is amazing, but the artist - it’s so difficult because everyone in the front row has water guns. These water guns are so accurate."

According to Jessi, performing at the event is amazing, but it becomes challenging due to the water guns wielded by the enthusiastic front-row audience.

She emphasized the accuracy of these water guns, making it difficult for artists to avoid getting drenched during their performances.

Other Artists' Comments, Jessie's Audience Targeting and Fashion Boundaries Claims

Numerous artists have raised concerns about the use of water guns and cannons that are directed towards the performers.

Lee Young Ji and (G)I-DLE's Shuhua have publicly voiced their discontent, citing instances of intentional spraying of water in their eyes during performances.

She disclosed that audience members had taken their water spraying antics to the extreme, specifically targeting her eyes and nose with their sprays.

Jessi's Wit Takes Center Stage as She Debunks the Notion of Water Splashing as 'Fun'  

When Dumbfoundead attempted to rationalize the situation, suggesting that water splashing was just part of the festival's fun, Jessi humorously countered with her contrasting perspective.

"Everyone's splashing each other, it's a water fest"

She emphasized the discomfort she experienced as a performer, with water being sprayed directly into her eyes and the resulting wetness lingering in every nook and cranny of her body.

"But it's like, 'Bruh, I'm performing!' And they're splashing... they're directly spraying it in your eye. When you go home, you have water in every hole. Everything is wet."

During the interview, Jessi also shed light on her groundbreaking outfit that pushed the boundaries at the WATERBOMB Festival. She admitted that it was a one-time occurrence and wouldn't be replicated in future performances.
