As a former member and main dancer of the girl group IZ*ONE, questions about the group were also asked and when asked about their recent status and bond, Chaeyeon proudly responded:

"I'm really glad to see that all members are settling down to their respective positions are are moving forward well. We often say that we're so proud of each other. In fact, our group chat rooms are still active."

IZ*ONE is a 12-member group that was launched through Mnet's idol survival program, "Produce 48," which aired in 2018. The team carried out their activities for two years and six months until they ended promotion due to a voting manipulation controversy.

After they disbanded in 2021, Lee Chaeyeon, Kwon Eunbi, Kang Hyewon, Choi Yena, Kim Minju, and Jo Yuri pursued solo paths, while Kim Chaewon and Miyawaki Sakura re-debuted as LE SSERAFIM.

Wonyoung and An Yujin, who were both Starship Entertainment artists, are in IVE, whereas Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi returned to Japan.

Despite this, Lee Chaeyeon attested to their unchanging friendship like sisters.

"We used to compete when we appeared in a survival program, but now we rely on each other a lot."

She also mentioned IZ*ONE wishing Jang Wonyoung a happy birthday last August 31.

"Recently, we celebrated (Jang) Wonyoung's birthday (August 31) in our group chat."

Regarding their reunion, the idol shocked fans when she revealed that the team recently gathered together with 10 members. Lee Chaeyeon narrated:

"This is a story that the fans don't know yet, but not long ago, there was a meeting with 10 people except for Hitomi and Jang Wonyoung, who couldn't participate due to their personal schedules.

During the meeting, everyone was amazed by how can 10 people gather. We also made a heartwarming promise to get together once a year while talking seriously that day."

In a related article, it was highlighted that the reunion happened when Nako returned to South Korea in August.

Unfortunately, Hitomi wasn't able to attend as she's still active in Japan while Wonyoung had a filming schedule.

Chaeyeon continued:

"When I met the members, we giggled and played like high school students. We really had a fun time we promised to get together at least once a year."

Meanwhile, on this day, September 6, Lee Chaeyeon will release her new single "The Move: Street" with the title track, "LET'S DANCE" and start her comeback activities.
