VIXX Reveals Relationship With N + Why Idol Failed to Join in Upcoming Comeback
Amid fans' frustration after N decided to sit out of VIXX's upcoming album, the remaining members addressed this concern and shared the REAL reason their leader could't join.
VIXX & N Fail to Coordinate Schedules, Group Proceeds With Comeback Without Leader
Ahead of their much-awaited comeback, fifth mini-album "CONTINUUM" on November 21 at 6 p.m. KST, VIXX held a round interview with Xsports News.
After inactivity for four years and two months, VIXX announced its return as a trio with Leo, Ken and Hyuk. While it was initially expected that their leader N would join them, he failed to participate in the album due to his solo schedule.
The four members, who scattered as soloists, musical singers, and actors have been busy individually before deciding to break the team's long hiatus and reunite as VIXX.

As fans waited for a very long time, fans expressed great dissatisfaction with N's move and called him "selfish" for focusing on building his career as an actor without participating in VIXX activities for many years.
Fans showed frustration and compared him to how other members showed passion for team activities although they were also busy with their personal schedules.
Regarding this, the three VIXX members addressed this concern and defended N, explaining that the three-member comeback was the group's collective decision.
Leo stated:
"When we talk about the comeback, the members meet first to discuss it, and I thought that N might be more disappointed because he already has a schedule. There are many interests that individuals can't do anything about. I think N will be the most disappointed because we can't be together because of those things."
Amid this issue, voices are suggesting they postpone the comeback a little more and wait for N to finish his schedule.
However, VIXX members also considered the fans who have been waiting for them, ultimately deciding to continue with the initial plan of meeting fans before the year ends this November.
"Even though I felt sorry for N, we thought that we should come out now. We decided that we couldn't postpone it any longer because there was already a big gap of four years and two months.
We also think that it's unfortunate that we can't coordinate with N's schedule, but I think we agreed on the date we did our best to coordinate. In that sense, we feel sorry for N. But I decided it was the most necessary time to release an album."
VIXX Attests to Unchanging Relationship With N: 'He's still a cherished member...'
VIXX conveyed that they understand why fans feel frustrated but they reassured the fandom that this issue will not strain the members' relationship with each other or lead them to grow apart.
In fact, the group hinted at their unrelenting friendship with all the members, narrating:
"The fans might feel disappointed about N, but N is still a cherished of VIXX and a friend. We always communicate a lot and talk about trivial stuff in our group chat. We don't just chat because it's a special day, but we just hello on a regular basis.
Of course, it's not something we can force you to do, but I think it would be nice if you could understand (N) and love (VIXX) a little bit (more)."
