On November 20, a trending post featuring Red Velvet Joy caught the attention of its fandom ReVeluvs after the author made fun of Joy for allegedly having "thick" arms.

In the post, the OP wrote:

"Joy, your forearms are really thick.

It's twice as much as Seulgi."

In less than a day, the post rose as a trending topic with about 60k views and in the comments, the idol also received some "aggro" reviews.

Upon seeing this, its fandom ReVeluvs were quick to defend the idol and counterattacked.

• "Seulgi's bones are (just) thin. I've never heard of someone saying Joy's arms are thick."
• "Do you live your whole life criticizing female idols arm fats?"
