Jessi To Reportedly Leave Jay Park's MORE VISION — 'Truth' About Conflict Rumor

Jessi reportedly plans to part ways with Jay Park's label MORE VISION after only seven months.

Is it because of the conflict rumor?

Jessi to Terminate Exclusive Contract With Jay Park's MORE VISION — Here's the REASON

On December 6, MORE VISION, a label led by Jay Park, announced that it is in the process of terminating its exclusive contract with soloist and rapper Jessi.

In April, the female star signed under the new nest after leaving P NATION in July 2022 but after about seven months, Jessi also reported on the news of breaking her contract with the label.

According to The Fact, the main reason was due to differences in vision between Jessi and the company.

Since there was no solution on how to narrow this contrast in opinions, it was very unlikely that the two sides would restore their relationship and continue the contract.

Jessi vs. Jay Park's MORE VISION: Story of How Conflict Rumor Between Artists Began

Following the news, MORE VISION briefly responded:

"We are checking the facts."

However, media outlets were quick to re-examine past relationships with Jessi and MORE VISION, which sparked discord rumors between the artist and the agency.

An industry official particularly shared:

"Jessi and MORE VISION were at odds over her new song activities at the time, and the conflict continued afterward.

In the end, we understand that MORE VISION decided that it would be better to go their own way with Jessi."

Going back to the time Jessi related her new single, "Gum," on October 25, Jessi was set to promote her release in various music programs, starting with KBS2's "Music Bank" on Oct. 27.

However, it was canceled due to the idol's poor health, and her supposed appearance on MBC's "Show! Music Core" and SBS's "Inkigayo" was also scrapped.

While the label claimed that Jessi's absence was due to health issues, media outlets later revealed that the star decided to unilaterally cancel her music show appearance. This was after MORE VISION failed to schedule a pre-recording session and due to poor stage quality, she decided to just skip it then.

Aside from this, her remarks on broadcasts also resurfaced, such as when she hinted at dissatisfaction with both Psy and Jay Park.

In November, Jessi was asked to choose between Psy and Jay Park, but she answered:

"I hate both."

When asked who she would save if both went missing from the pool, Jessi also hinted at hostility to both, answering:

"I'm going to stay behind. Men are going to swim in the pool. If it's the sea, I don't know. Tell them to just take care of them in the pool. It's hard for me to survive either."
