Did RIIZE Copy NewJeans? SM Entertainment Under Fire for 'Plagiarizing' Girl Group's Cyber Concept

On December 28, netizens gathered in an online forum and discussed the new updates on RIIZE's official website.

According to the post, the author uploaded a glimpse of the homepage, which features retro phone features from the 90's. Many were delighted with RIIZE's new upgrade, bringing in positive comments from BRIIZEs.

  •  "Wow, I'm excited for this."
  •  "What in the world? What is this? Is this a Cyberworld concept? I can't even fathom."
  •  "It looks like the trend is going for the pixel look lately."
  •  "Is that the 2D phone concept? It reminds me of phones from back in the day."

However, majority of netizens aired out that the website's visuals resembled NewJeans' concept. Some even disagreed with the claims, saying that comparing the two groups' concepts was unnecessary, while others argued the post was made to incite hate.
