In response to this, Lee Hyori revealed her past interactions with the BLACKPINK member.
She said, "I am so thankful. I have met Jennie twice. Once, during my promotions for 'Black,' I saw her when I passed the corridor."

Jennie also remembered this time, saying, "Hyori looked at me while I stood in the corridor, touched my cheek, and left. My heart fluttered so much and I could not sleep that night."
Lee Hyori then recounted how the interaction played out in her head. "I remember it so well. It's rude to touch the face of someone you don't know, but Jennie still had a baby face at that time. She looked at me with bright eyes like she wanted me to touch her face. So, without me realizing it, my hand reached out to her."
