Influencer Larray Reveals BLACKPINK Jennie's Real Personality: Here's What He Had To Say

On December 21, Larray sat down for an interview on the YouTube web show "Allegedly Speaking." During his time there, host Louis Levanti asked Larray if he had any memorable—good or bad—celebrity or influencer encounters.

Larray stated he never had a bad experience, but one moment stuck out in his mind: the day he met BLACKPINK member Jennie. Larray recalls how he was invited to fly out to South Korea to attend an event for the Calvin Klein X Jennie launch.

Following the event, Larray was invited by a friend to attend dinner. Little did he know that Jennie would also be in attendance at the meal!

The male influencer recounts being totally shell-shocked to see Jennie in real life. In the past, he saw her multiple times on his recommended or "For You" pages, and due to her super megastar status, he sometimes forgot she was a real person. Therefore, when he saw her at the dinner, his reaction was, "Wait, you are literally Jennie from BLACKPINK!"

Larray gushes over how sweet Jennie is in real life. Though the idol had to leave the dinner early, she made sure not to leave before paying for everyone's meal!

When asked if he was a BLINK, Larray revealed he is a member of the fandom. He complimented the girl's dedication to their craft and how passionate they are, noting that anybody can make music, but not anybody can be BLACKPINK.

BLACKPINK Jennie Recent Activities

Together with her bandmates, Jennie was invested by King Charles III as an Honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) on November 22, 2023, at a special investiture held at Buckingham Palace. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol was also present.

On December 6, YG Entertainment revealed that Jennie and the other members of BLACKPINK have extended their contracts for group activities and that negotiations were still ongoing regarding the members' individual contracts. On December 24, Jennie announced that in November 2023, she established Odd Atelier, her own record label.
