Born in 2001, Sungchan spent four years as a trainee under SM Entertainment, signing with the company in August 2016. He made his debut with the boy group NCT in October 2022.
After about two years and seven months as an NCT member, Sungchan left the group and re-debuted with RIIZE in September 2023. He was joined by fellow former NCT member Shotaro.
