In the K-pop scene, the number of YouTube views and subscribers were huge factors to determine an idol's popularity & influence.

Among agencies, SM Entertainment boasts 32.2 million subscribers and has been earning 361, 290 USD (482.63 million won), being in the business for 29 years.

The acts and artists under the label also played a huge factor in it, whose respective YouTube channels are earning millions of KRW as well.

aespa, EXO, NCT, RIIZE Are SM Entertainment's Highest-Earning K-pop Groups on YouTube

According to related industries including Nox Influencer, a social network service data analysis company, aespa, is shaking the powerful influence of SMTOWN's fandom by having a projected monthly income of 250,536 USD (334.68 million won)!

Although the girl group just debuted in November 2020 and is behind the company's official channel in terms of subscribers, its forecast monthly revenue is close to 70% of SMTOWN in three years after its debut.

Following the quartet is EXO, who has 144, 184 USD (192.61 million won) estimated monthly profit. They are the SM group with the largest number of subscribers so they are earning higher before, but considering their few contents last year, it is understandable.

In third place, NCT 127 trailed behind EXO with $92.9k (124.10 million won) revenue. Meanwhile, RIIZE's influence is also rapidly expanding.

Since its debut in September 2023, the first boy group to be introduced by SM in seven years since NCT, they had projected monthly YouTube income of $84k (112.27 million won) and became fourth place among SM groups, and fifth overall.

Among personal YouTube channels, SNSD Taeyeon earns the most with her solo MVs and content, having $91.16k (121.78 million won) monthly. This is significantly higher than the SNSD YouTube channel's estimated monthly income and the fourth highest-earning artist in general before RIIZE.
