Following recent airport photos of NCT Wish revealing the members' visuals, Korean netizens were seen "upset" for THIS reason.

On January 26, NCT Wish, the last sub-unit of SM's large-scale global group NCT was spotted at the Gimpo Airport to depart for Tokyo, Japan.

On this day, various media outlets and fan sites were seen taking their snaps, which would also mark their first official airport photos as a group and unit ahead of its debut.

NCT Wish Yushi & Riku Impress With Visuals

Prior to their departure from Korea to Japan, the six members Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo and Sakuya professionally posed in cameras, despite nervousness.

When their photos were released, K-pop fans and internet users were amazed at their refreshing and youthful visuals. While all of them are good-looking, two members particularly stood out, which were Riku and Yushi.

In their photos, Riku caught attention for his handsome actor vibes, resembling Ahn Hyo Seop. Yushi also drew attention for his flower boy aura, sending K-netizens into a frenzy.

In an online community, their photos are widely spread garnering attention even from non-K-pop fans for the members' striking visuals.

K-Netz Upset NCT Wish Will Mainly Promote in Japan

Once Riku and Yushi's photos spread, more Koreans took an interest in them and found out that they would be a Japan-based NCT unit, that will be targeting the Japanese market.

In fact, they already built their solid foundation thereby successfully completing 24 pre-debut tours in 9 cities in Japan. On February 21, they will officially debut as a team.

Hearing this, Korean netizens were upset that they would not be mainly promoted in South Korea, expressing that they would be more popular in the country. Also, they expressed frustration that only Japanese fans could get to see NCT Wish's visuals more often.

• "Yushi and Riku are so handsome. I really hope you can promote in Korea as well."
