Since its release, "Super Lady" became one of the most notable tracks of 2024 due to its anthemic execution, club beat, and empowering message. However, the song also drew out divided reactions from the K-pop community, as some deemed it as "forgettable."

On January 30, netizens gathered in a forum and discussed the song's digital performance on MelOn's daily chart. According to the post, "Super Lady" fell down the rankings after peaking at No. 30. The author also shared the Top 100 ranking.

Netizens criticized the song for being "bad," and claimed that the song's ranking would go up if it was a good release. Some insisted that pre-release track "Wife" sounded better than the album's title track "Super Lady." Read their comments below:

  • "The song is just bad."
  • "People would listen to it if it was a good song."
  • "Wife's beat was so wasted for a side track."
  • "This song is just not it."
  • "Well, it just seems like they're going for the typical route where the pre-release sounds better than the title track."

The online post still contained opposing reviews, as some Neverlands defended the song's performance. Some were also surprised that (G)I-DLE's new rankings were their "lowest," since their numbers are something most "underrated" artists would wish to achieve.

Others claimed that it was too soon to conclude the final results since it was only released on January 29.

  • "I do think that they picked a bad song this time, but I also thought the same during 'Queencard.' They will go up anyways right?"
  • "I'm f**king jealous that this is considered their lowest ranking."
  • "The song is so exciting, so I like listening to it while walking boldly outside and I like listening to it. Seems like the opinions are really divided."
  • "Is this a compliment? How is that their lowest?"
  • "ITZY and NMIXX will say thanks to this kind of charting."
  • "I think they didn't start promoting it yet, and we will see if it will rise then. Even without that, this is still a solid ranking in my opinion."
