Ex-IZ*ONE Hitomi to Re-Debut in Korea? Speculation Arises for This Reason

Ex-IZ*ONE Hitomi might re-debut in Korea and join this existing girl group, according to K-pop fans who noticed this huge "hint."

On March 24, the girl group tripleS's official YouTube channel uploaded a new video," titled, "We were 'already' one and also twenty-four | EN | SIGNAL 240324."

In the video, the last four unrevealed tripleS members were seen walking inside the venue, partially showing off their physiques and features.

While the last members were yet to take off their veils, fans who had been anticipating the large-scale group to be completed then started to speculate who would join tripleS and why the existing members were surprised.

There are claims that it was due to the fact that some of the members were already known in the music scene and one of them could be actually Hitomi Honda!

Their faces weren't revealed, but the biggest proof that fans were highlighting why it must be Hitomi was the scar on the former IZ*ONE's left shin.

Looking at the video uploaded by tripleS, one of the members has a visible scar in the same area, and the resemblance is really uncanny that fans think they could be the same person.

Hitomi Honda, who was born in 2001 and is 22 years old this year, began her career in Japan in 2014 as a member of the popular idol group, AKB48.

In 2018, her fame expanded in South Korea after she joined Mnet's "Produce 48," which led her to debut in the girl group, IZ*ONE.

Despite the popularity, the "Nation's Pick" team sadly disbanded in 2021 and she decided to return to her country to promote AKB48 again. However, she once again revealed sad news after she graduated from the team in January.
