Ex-Hello Venus Kwon Nara reveals how she and her former members used to sneak out and go clubbing.

People may know Kwon Nara for her K-drama roles, as she starred in "My Mister" and "Itaewon Class," but she actually got her start in the industry as an idol! She debuted with Hello Venus in 2012 and was active with the group until 2019. Now, however, she is active as an actress.

In a recent show appearance, Kwon Nara reveals secrets from her idols days that she hadn't revealed until now!

Former Hello Venus Kwon Nara Spills On How Group Sneaked Out To Go Clubbing

On March 25, 2024, a new video was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Zzanbro Shin Dong Yup." Kwon Nara was the guest in this latest episode.

During the web show, Kwon Nara revealed she had met Shin Dong Yun before, as he was in charge of hosting the wedding of her agency's CEO at the time. Soon after, Kwon Nara looked fondly back on her memories as a member of Hello Venus.

Kwon Nara revealed that while she was training, she and other trainees would deceive their agency manager and secretly eat snacks and chicken. After discussing her trainee life, Kwon Nara dug deeper into her adult years with Hello Venus.

She confessed that once the members became adults, they wanted to experience clubbing. She then revealed that she and the other members would pretend to go to the sauna but would actually sneak off to clubs in Gangnam together.

She and the other Hello Venus members would tell their manager how much they wanted to go to the sauna together, and after getting permission, she and the other adult members of the group would go to the club. Meanwhile, members who were underage would go to the sauna.

They were able to get away with it a few times, but the secret was ultimately revealed. One member had accidentally left her mobile phone, which she secretly owned without telling the company, in their manager's car. This forced them to confess about their hidden phones and other shenanigans.

Hello Venus disbanded on May 8, 2019, following the expiration of their contracts. At the time of their disbandment, the girl group was composed of members Alice, Nara, Lime, Seoyoung, Yooyoung, and Yeoreum.
