Following the group's disbandment, THIS 4th-gen idol revealed that he was unaware of it until he saw the official announcement made by their label. 

Nature Space Entertainment stated that its boy group XEED will unfortunately end its group activities in April.

While the label claimed that the decision was made after a long discussion with the members, it seemed like they were actually unaware of it, with UO implying that he was only notified through the label's official notice.

Nature Space Announces XEED's Disbandment on April 8

XEED debuted in December 2022 with originally four members, hereinafter five. After undergoing member lineup changes, the members up until their disbandment were Doha, Shun, BAO, Jaemin, and UO.

Throughout their promotion, they formed a small yet solid and loyal fan base called, GREENY. Fans were deeply moved by their hard work, passion and dedication to their music, and they remained despite the influx of K-pop idols.

On March 22, Nature Space Entertainment, unfortunately, announced that the members will no longer be a team after April 8.

"Hello, we are Nature Space.

First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to all devoted fans who showed endless love for XEED, but we regret to share this unfortunate news.

Thanks to the fans' love since their debut, XEED has been working hard with their activities. But after a long discussion with the members, it has been decided to end it on April 8.

We would like to thank the members for being with us for a long time and once again, thank you to the fans who have supported them all this time.

We ask you to continuously support the members who will embark on their new chapter of their lives in the future."

XEED UO Hints at Being Unaware of Group's Disbandment in Letter to Fans

Following the news, GREENYs were shocked about the sudden news as they were anticipating the group's return.

However, the most heartbreaking was after they found out that it seemed like the "long discussion with members" as claimed by Nature Space didn't happen, but it seemed like they were fired without any notice.

In a fan letter penned by member UO, he quoted:

"While lying in the hospital, I felt really bad reading the notice about the end of XEED activities. It's heartbreaking, and I feel powerless knowing that we five members, who feel like brothers, can no longer be active as XEED."

He then apologized to the fandom for not being able to keep his promise of being the best singer that they could be proud of.

Since the notice was only posted on XEED's official café, K-pop fans are only belatedly being notified about the group's disbandment as well, and upon digging, not only UO who received surgery has not been made aware of the news but even the others members, BAO, SHUN and Jaemin.
