BIGHIT MUSIC's rookie boy group CORTIS officially released their debut album Color Outside the Lines on September 8, alongside the music video for FaSHioN.

The music video of the five-member group, consisting of Martin, James, Juhoon, Sunghyun, and Geonho, features dramatic scenes set against New Zealand's snow-covered mountains, junkyards, and city streets.

The debut album contains six tracks, including the previously released title track "What You Want," the rallying anthem "GO!," "FaSHioN," summer-inspired "JoyRide," and ballad "Lullaby," plus a digital-only version of "What You Want" featuring Teezo Touchdown. Each song reflects the group's commitment to pushing boundaries and embracing imperfections, with all five teenage members credited across the album for writing lyrics and contributing to production.

CORTIS has positioned itself as a "young creator crew" within BIGHIT MUSIC, with members actively participating in producing music, choreography, and video content. The group developed their sound over two years, working through approximately 300 demos before narrowing down the five tracks that best express their identity. Martin and James previously worked on projects for senior HYBE artists, including Tomorrow X Together's "Deja Vu" and ILLIT's "Magnetic."

The "FaSHioN" music video, directed by BANGJAEYEOB and inspired by CORTIS' original concept, showcases the group's unique lifestyle through fashion themes. The track was choreographed by CORTIS members alongside REMY and MUN HYUN. Before the album release, the group's pre-debut track "GO!" surpassed 10 million views on YouTube, demonstrating strong international appeal.

CORTIS marks BIGHIT MUSIC's first new boy group since Tomorrow X Together debuted six years ago. The album is available in seven physical versions, including Scene 1, Scene 2, Scene 3, and two Weverse Album versions, offering fans various collectible options such as photobooks, film sheets, and random photocards. To celebrate the release, CORTIS held their first release party at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium on September 8, performing all tracks live with the event livestreamed through Weverse.

The album emphasizes self-expression and authenticity, with themes exploring youth, individuality, and carving out one's own path. Through Color Outside The Lines, CORTIS aims to challenge societal norms and encourage young listeners to be bold and unapologetically themselves. This debut establishes CORTIS as a new and promising force in the competitive K-pop industry.
