Pokemon X And Y Pokedex [RUMOR]: New Diancie Image In Pokemon Amie, Is This A Carbink Evolution?

Pokemon X and Y have been released, and several hidden Pokedex entries have been unveiled with several theories regarding one potential legendary or event Pokemon: Diancie.

As previously reported, three hidden Pokemon have reportedly been uncovered by an anonymous hacker through RAM editing with a hardware-hacked 3DS and partial decryption of the file system.

According to Pokejungle, similar trademark names called Dianshi, Borukenion, and Fuupa were discovered several months back, so it could add credence for this Pokemon X and Y rumor.

The hacker also elaborates that Volcanion is a Fire/Water dual-type, a new combination. Diancie is Rock/Fairy, and Hoopa is Ghost/Physic. If these legendary Pokemon are real, then they are introducing new dual-type combinations as well.

And a new image has surfaced featuring Diancie during Poke-Amie, adding credence to the potential existence of these Pokedex entries within X and Y.

One interesting theory about Diancie is that it is in fact an evolution of Carbink, a new Kalos Pokedex entry. Carbink is a grayish rock Pokemon that is also Rock/Fairy, and its mostly hidden head is separated by a white, fluffy collar.

Looking at the two, many have noticed similarities between Diancie and Carbink, but some remain unconvinced that Diancie is an evolution of this Pokemon.

"Why would Game Freak make the evolution of a common Pokemon 'hidden'? And not consecutively numbered in the Pokedex when they are in the same generation?" asks SSJ4CHRIS on Gamefaqs.

Some also cite their Japanese names (based on carbon and diamonds) as potential signs that they are related in some manner. But, should Diancie be hidden as a legendary event Pokemon, this will be the first time a legendary has a pre-volution (not counting Mega Evolution of course).

So far, though, nothing is really confirmed as to why these Pokedex entries might be hidden, and if they will be revealed at a later date.
